hectic day today. work was harder today cos the kids became quite crazy all of a sudden. all of them were so rowdy and didnt listen at all and ran everywhere and it was sooo hard to control them man! and and and cos today was one girl's birthday then we celebrated and had cake and stuff, and the kids got their hands all filled with cream and then they held on to my jeans!!! AHH!!! hahahaa i was squirming away from them and shrieking "nono don't hold me!! don't!!!!" -_- and then they gave me bewildered looks. haha. then left for town to meet hadri for lunch. yayyy finally got to meet my other gay. hehe. then went for driving which was better! haha yay. i only stalled 3 times. hehe. and er, mounted the kerb once. but less jerks and i can stop at the targets! yayy. mm today was quite fun. =] met iris after that and we headed to pandan valley for anna's surprise birthday thingie. and we all hid around the pool area then when she arrived we er, surprised her! hahaha. duh.
the birthday girl! us. and of course, we couldnt resist dunking anna into the pool! hahaha.
and results are out on wed!!! omg. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

so. had my first driving lesson on tuesday and the instructor is going sooo slowwwly with me. and i was wearing my track shoes and i couldnt feel the stupid pedals and i thought i wasnt accelerating when i was so i press damnnn hard and zoomed away. -_- and braking is even worse i just jammed down and both the instructor and i lurched forward. yes but i only stalled once! so i thought i'm not thaaaat bad after all, but noooooo i made up for my lack of stalling in today's lesson! stalled like 9 times or something and took damn long restarting the engine. haha. and i wore slippers today so at least can feel the pedals lah though at first my slippers kept getting stuck in the rubber mat. -_- yeah but my car's still jerky! esp when moving off. stupid half-clutch. i haaaate. and i had a near accident, almost crashed into the car in front then the instructor had to brake for me. whooooops. hey but not my fault also lor. at least, not entirely hahaha. cos that stupid car in front of me is damn slow and i always let him move off first until damn far away then i move and accelerate more and more in my excitement hahahaa. then somehow i catch up with him and even when my foot is off the accelerator he's still way too close! grrr. or maybe i was tailgating and he got nervous. hahahah! and he kept swerving from side to side in between lanes and stuff. yes and i caused like, a ten car pile-up while i was trying to restart my stalled engine cos i took sooo long. haha whooooops. the instructor was like, look behind! see what you did!! -_- yeah so erm, to pple like kt, max and jose who were expecting me to drive them around, you better think twice mannn. haha. lesson again tmr. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

hellohello i met this nun yesterday!!! =] hahahaa. and he's a very scary nun too apparently, with his platoon thinking he's some gangster. stupid hadri was supposed to meet us too. =[ hadriiiii i've missed youuu and your nonsense. bleah. owells but i had a fun time with timmy who i havent seen in super long. and yes he's become veryvery bitchy too. haha. and he insists he got darker cos he has collar tanlines now. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. maybe abit lah. =] then it was off to dinner with jose and we are so sad man i thought we would eat a lotta sushi but the bill only came up to less than 20 bucks. dunno why i was so full and he apparently ate alot at funorama so yup. and he bought a george eliot book to read in camp. oh my. george eliot. memories of silas marner. yuckkk. oh and i just passed my final theory evaluation. like, justjustjust passed. like, 45. sighhhhhhhhhh i'm lousy. i better pass the test in two weeks time if not its back to evaluation again and i'll kill myself. boohoo. but anyway driving starts in two days and i'll get to meet my old and silent instructor who yq got for a few lessons. hope he's good if not he'll be chucked to the dustbin by my mum.

woohoo i got my pretty ora debit card! and then i promptly destroyed it by anyhow signing on the back of it. ARGH!!! dunno why my fat ballpoint pen turned out so skinny on the card and now it looks like i signed it with a needle dipped in ink. -_- and erm, my signature seems to look different everytime i sign. oh nooooooo. =[ so anyway today i met the puah in town for lunch after work and to shop but as usual i was too picky and didnt find anything i really liked. sighhhh. then cabbed down for my final theory lesson and i was late. whoops. and it was raining when the lesson ended but i met weishan at the driving centre! who offered to give me a lift to the mrt station. aww so nice esp since i dont really know her that well. =] yeah and so, now i can faster go take the evaluation test then the final theory test and faster finish my practical lessons which start next tues! ok i know i'm very slow and most pple are either halfway thru or finishing already but whateverrrr. but driving seems quite irritating now after reading the final theory book. clutch here clutch there then keep having to shift gear then still got the stupid handbrake. grrrrrrrr. and tmr i got many stupid errands to do like collect my jeans and go link my account to my destroyed ora card and deposit money and other stuff and maybe try to shop haha. and jiawei is very good now that he's unemployed yet again for the third time cos he is always free to accompany me anytime anywhere for anything! like queuing up in the bank tmr. yay for jiawei! muahahahhaa.

sent sandhya off on sunday... and coincidentally, almost all of us 408 pple were wearing black. sombre mood. as juelin says, cannot dress too happily... owells. its quite sad to see her go... and made me think quite abit about going off myself too. its like more real now that one of us left already. i think i need to really start thinking more abt it. but of course must wait for results and scholarship and whatever too. sigh. can't imagine leaving everything and everyone behind though, and everyone also knows what a lousy person i am at taking care of myself. heh. but then again, it'll be quite interesting to start a whole new chapter. ok nvm shall stop talking abt it here. haha. yup so here's us who sent her off.. then yesterday, there was a new kid in class! he's called lucas haha. he's very funny and roly-poly and chubby. but he was crying and screaming at first and kept asking for his mummy and also asking for "bao4 bao4!" hahaha! then the indian teacher kept asking us whats that. and i was pro k, i managed to make him stop crying! told him mummy would only come if he stopped. haha. then he started to play and work normally except every 3 seconds he'll turn and ask me, "mummy?" and i'll tell him things like "mummy went to buy food! she'll come later k?" yeah but he's quite cute lah. =] oh then i tried to take a bus to eunos station cos needed to top up my ezlink card, but guess what! i missed the stop i think. so i travelled until someplace called kaki bukit and i realised i have no idea where i was, so hopped off and took a cab home. which cost me freaking 12 bucks!!! omg. i am going broke and its only monday. i should stop cabbing so often. hmm. came home and slept and was so lethargic that i was 45min late in meeting huimin, iris, anna and juelin for dinner. whooops! haha sorrysorry. belated celebration of minnie's birthday! =] ate at surf and turf again, with a really nice cake that jue and anna bought. damn super full!! and then we hung around suntec taking many crazy pictures. laugh until wanna die. hahaha!

oh and i've just gotten the photos from sandhya. from the 408 gathering we had on tues! only about 10 of us went though. owells. had lotsa fun talking about the our old mad days in rgs and our crazy teachers like, ahem, lulu lee and i hope you dance, potato tan and his fedup throwing of markers etc. hahaha. yups and sandhya's flying off on sunday to australiaaaaa... gonna see her off. =]

happy birthday minniegoons!!!! =]
today's carlin's birthday too! this really cute kid in my toddler class. we had a mini birthday party for him! haha. went for a really late dinner yesterday with marvin, ailin and jiawei. nydc was damn crowded man. and marvin gave me my really belated present! haha. a table and chairs which he painted and fixed, with some help from ailin and jiawei. awwww. =]

a cny family photo taken a few days ago..
so. the big cny party was yesterday, complete with 8 lions and a dragon dance. quite hectic at times having to greet everyone and getting them drinks and all. and not being able to tell which guests were relatives, various friends of family members, parents' staff, or neighbours. or maybe just random strangers. haha. shook many hands and received quite a number of angpows so yay!! =] only invited the vball girls as my guests though. and max dropped by just to visit, even though he had no one else to accompany him. (awww...=]) oh, and sarah fell in love with a 4 year old. haha.
results are supposed to be out real soon. this is bad. very very very very. =[
and i really think i should go trim my hair. its getting super atrocious.
yupyup, and i've made a decision about something! and this is the perfect time to test it. lalala. at least i have someone else to entertain me for the time being. hmm.

ahh just got home. had a really nice day today. =] went to coach chunkie's house to bai nian! rgs team tradition. =] too bad sarah's in hongkong and yvette couldnt make it. but anyway it was nice seeing her... she's exactly the same, telling us long stories and all. still remember last time in rgs after training when she'd sit us down at the walkway and tell us loooong stories till it was damn late. =] haha and i forgot to bring oranges! again! whoops. which led to her whacking me. -_- and as usual, while others were gambling away at various parts of her house, we were sitting in the same room playing stupid games! hahahaa like slapjack and some zipzappingpong game. so the other pple probably thought we're spastic idiots but it was freaking hilarious lah haha.
kt and von fighting it out! and kt kept up the tradition of losing slapjack at every cny muahaha. with coach and her daughter. =]
yup then it was off to town to meet ben for dinner! my dearest clandestine. =] hung arnd at mccafe after dinner and gossiped and talked and well, old friends are always the best lah. =] 10 years and counting! i love my benjipenji! hahahhaa. =]
we walked from lido to ps so that i could meet janahan and joash for a movie. match point. quite a psycho show but quite interesting too lah i guess. though i was rather sleeeepy. and janahan gave me my belated birthday present! 3 pairs of socks in camouflage print. with a note that says "with so many of us in army right now, here's something just in case you feel left out." hahahaha sheeeeeeeeeeeesh. but how cute. =] and there's joash the handsome boy! haha. =]
