so law camp was over on thursday, and it was really quite fun! although secret pals and formal dinner were worse than alot of work. and damn stressful too. and we had less than 3 hours of sleep everyday. on the 1st night, mich and i only slept ONE hour!!! but all in all, it was good i guess. =D

yesterday was sarah's surprise birthday party!!!! monkey turns 21!

happy birthday to my favourite hongkong monkey!!! the girl who's always full of encouragement and determination, spurring me on through chunkie's trainings, edwin's trainings, marvin's mad killer trainings, mr teo's slack trainings. the one who's always on about everything, who's always cheerful, and the one who's always there for all of us, no matter what. though we're kinda far away now, i will love you always, sarah!! hugs.

hello, i'm back!!! =DDDD
the trip was fun and the weather was damn nice! sunny with nice blue skies but also with a nice cool breeze. we headed to sweden first, with a stopover at heathrow. it was good flying away from some nonsense that have been bugging me all along. and as we got further and further, i kinda started to forget about them all. even forgot about why i felt a certain way about some things, or some people. =]
but the plane ride was freaking long and i hate sleeping in the plane. super uncomfortable. unlike chris, i dont fly first class. or raffles class or whatever atas class he flies la. hahahaa.

pretty view from the plane. =] i took this on one of the many times i woke up because of cramps in my neck or leg or whatever. damn terrible lor. my knee totally died. erghh.
anyway we arrived in stockholm without any problems. the cab from the airport to the hotel was S$100!!! omg. i think cabbies in stockholm and london are super rich.
sweden is really pretty and sparsely populated, with huge vast areas of land and forests, and little clusters of houses sprinkled here and there. we walked along the streets for awhile after that.


then headed for dinner on a boat, with Andes, Jacob, Johanna, Lars and David, swedish friends. =]

headed to the deck for awhile when the rest were still eating below. really nice sailing across the lake, with the wind and the cool air, seeing all those little beach houses and swedes jumping into the lake. i want a beach house too! haha. felt a million miles away from singapore (which actually is quite accurate hurhur), especially since the sky was a brilliant blue, cloudless and the sun shining brightly above, while at that time in singapore it was like 2am, all dark with everyone asleep. or maybe not. well, mok wasnt anyway. he was msging me, cos he missed meeeeeeeee. right, mok?? hehehehe. =D
anyway the swedish food was good. alot alot of fish. and it's really aLOT. different kinds of fish cooked in different ways. but it was also damn salty! too much can die.

breakfast the next day with lars and david, before they went back.


then shopping!!! but alot of the stuff in sweden reminded me of those at far east. so didnt really buy much. but the streets are so niceeee. and we had lunch at some little cafe on the street. then after that we went for dinner with Andes and family at a very very nice little inn in the middle of nowhere.



pretty scenery there. hahaa. in sweden, the days are like 22 hours long and the nights are just 2 hours long! those photos were taken at about 9+pm swedish time. crazy right. haha.


the inn was near some castle so we went to take a look. the grounds are huge. apparently this castle here is for like, when the king dies or sth then the queen gets banished here. hahahaha. or something like that.



went to the old town the next day, with more castles and streets. and random soldiers and cannons. damn stupid, we had to stand damn far away to take a photo cos we're not supposed to cross "the royal white line" -_____-





then we went to visit some very very old shipwreck!! The Vasa. damn nice lor it was huge and it looked exactly like the ships in pirates of the carribean. haha. i didnt take a pic of it though cos my camera sucks and the museum was damn dark. even with flash also can't see. -_-





and after that, it's byebye stockholm, and hello, london! which sucks because our first hotel was really really gross. it was dark, dank and tiny, and the doors are super small. the hallways are like a quiet, scary maze. the beds are teeny and the service sucks and the toilet is like one square metre! there is no space for anything. so we moved after one night to another hotel! yayyy. which was much much better. the blankets are not papery-thin and there is artistic decor, a nice big tv, queen sized beds and an ironing board hahaha. speaking of which, i ironed!!!!! and i didnt burn anything. yayyyyyyyyyy!!! =D

we headed to hyde park first. it is one humongous park. i think the botanic gardens is like, 1/10th the size. i think i can get lost just in hyde park. haha. well anyway, it's a nice park. and the weather was good. and there were manymany swans in the lake, and super alot of pigeons. which are really quite gross. haha.

and then it was on to madame tussaud's wax museum! super fun la. the wax figures were damn real. and there was this guy posing as a wax figure, and we thought he wasnt real, then he suddenly came alive. haha. and there was this chamber of horrors thing which we had to go through. super scaryyyyyyy! and i just screamed like mad and kept telling the ghosts to go away. and told them "you cannot touch me!!!!!!!!" hahahaha when they came damn near. cos the lady said we're not supposed to touch them and they can't touch us. really worse than scary. just clung onto my sister's bag for dear life. hahaha.

there's law camp tmr! which i hope will be fun. mich and i have quite alot to do though. erghhhhhhh.

hahaha. oh yah! and i found kinder surprise in sweden!!!!!! i was so happy lor.
bought some for people. and i ate one myself. but my surprise was lousy!!!!!! it was just some ugly stickers.
i am so sad. =[[[[[[[
see what we get tmr when we eat the rest. haha.
